Enjoy an evening of conviviality, fine wine and live music with your
friends and neighbors at the annual wine tasting benefit for the Fort
Tryon Park Trust. Cosponsor Cabrini Wines will supply an elegant
assortment of wines for the tasting and special discounts for orders
placed through the event. You can sample over 20 wines from Cabrini
Wines paired with delectable food from restaurants in Washington
Heights and Inwood thanks to the Washington Heights Business
Improvement District.

All proceeds support Fort Tryon Park restoration, horticultural
supplies, maintenance staff, free programs, special events, volunteer
initiatives and improvements in the park.

Ticket sales at the door (if space permits) – $60 per person

Access to the historic Linden Terrace is by staircase only so it is

Jun 19, 2012: Kid’s Singing Audition – US Open Casting Call at Apollo Theater


The USTA will host its 6th Annual Casting Call to select children aged 12 and under to perform at the 2012 US Open which is held from Aug 27 – Sept 9
Winners will perform America the Beautiful live at Arthur Ashe Stadium during night sessions of this year’s US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
The auditions are free of charge. All will perform a cappella in front of a panel of judges from the music and entertainment industries.
The young singers performing at the US Open always captivate the crowd in Arthur Ashe Stadium, said Gordon Smith, USTA Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer.
The USTA will announce the final singer selections in mid-July. The winners will receive a US Open Gift Bag and Tickets to their performance session – in addition to exposure in front of as many as 24,000 fans in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
